Code of Conduct
For classes taught by Prof. Constantine Roussos,
effective Aug. 31, 1998
All students are expected to adhere to the rules listed below. Anyone who cannot
adhere to this code may not attend class. The instructor reserves the right to
require students who violate the code to leave the classroom. Interpretation of
the rules is at the sole discretion of the instructor.
- Students are expected to be present for class before the scheduled time for
class to begin. Students who are late to class or who are dismissed from class
for violation of this code will receive a class participation grade of zero for
the day.
- Students are expected to remain in their seats until dismissed. Violators of
this rule will receive a class participation grade of zero for the day.
- Cheating on homework, tests or programs constitutes a violation of the College honor
code.
Violators will be prosecuted.
The following actions will not be tolerated.
- Speech or conduct disrespectful to the instructor or to other students.
- Foul language.
- Speech or conduct disruptive to class activities.
